How to Work with the IRS

This presentation will focus on estate and gift tax returns.  Mike will introduce the structure of the IRS as it relates to these types of returns. Following that introduction insights will provided on what to do before the return is filed, steps to take given the IRS classification processes, steps to take on audit, and what to do if the case is unagreed and proceeds to Appeals or litigation.  This should be helpful to practitioners, clients and those interested in knowing how to navigate these processes on behalf of their clients

This highly interactive session is specifically oriented towards IRS employees that audit taxpayers .  The emphasis is on de-escalation and negotiation.  Elements related to time management, delegation as a delegatee and delegator are included since these areas can also lead to frustration and conflict.   Key elements from neuroscience will be incorporated throughout the session.

A Servant Manager, What is it and What Does it Mean to Me?

Through a process of small break outs, managers discuss the mantra of catching employees doing something specific right each week, getting the employees the tools they need from their perspective, and giving employees a chance to shine.
