In this session, Mike offers insights from two of his books, The Servant Manager and Peaceful Resolutions, with current thoughts from neuroscience to overcome conflict and enhance effectiveness. Using humor, stories and interaction with the audience the focus is on taking advantage of The Collaboration EffectTM to overcome conflict. By de-escalating the situation and ourselves and focusing on communication, conversation and listening it is possible to work with difficult people to enhance relationships, resources and revenues by taking advantage of The Collaboration EffectTM. Know who you are working with, understanding the role of the participants, understanding interests, and asking open ended questions with a genuine curiosity to learn with empathy go a long way towards conflict resolution.
